First day in Florida. . .

Yesterday we drove most of the day until we got to Tallahasee, but after we got there the firsth thing we did was go to the capitol building. We got there just in time, and got to see a little bit of it before it closed.

Today we went to the Pebble Hill Plantation. It was so cool! It's a really big old house and lots of grounds. We went on a tour through the house. Unfortunetly, you couldn't take pictures inside of the house, but it was beautiful! Here's a few pictures of the outside though.

It was very interesting and I'm glad we had the chance to go to it!

Pictures From Washington DC!

OK, I was trying to post all the pictures from DC in one post but it was taking a long time and it was getting confusing and i kept putting it off, but i want to get them up here! So i am going to do it in a couple posts, that will be easier. Now for the pictures!


On our first whole day there we went to the National Zoo!

there were elephants. . .

and gorillas. . .

and orangutans. . .

and a bunch of other animals!

hippos. . . .

ooh look a jellyfish. . .

there's a cheetah way back there, but it's kinda hard to see. . .

i don't remember what this thing was called, it had some weird long name, but to me it looks like a giant hamster or something! :D

and this was like a ginormous hippo, but you can't see it very well in the picture because it wouldn't come out of the water. . .
