The first ever Earth Hour was in Sydney, Austrailia in 2007. About 2.2 million households and businesses participated! Many other cities around the world adopted the event in 2008. About 36 million people participated in Earth Hour 2008.
So what do you think? Can you turn off all your lights for just one hour to help our earth? Spread the news and tell everyone you know about Earth Hour!
